Hi, friends! Have You Heard of an E Bike? WHAT IS AN E BIKE: An e bike is nothing but a non –polluting bicycle that runs on electricity in addition to your legs. That's right! Get on the gas sooner, and mashing that sucker helps you go faster, which makes riding easier. In todays post we are going to be discussing electric bikes with removable battery. Cool, right? So let us dip a bit in to find out more about how it works!
So, what powers an e bike? Well, it's the batteries! They are very essential as these provide power for the bike. Some e bikes allow you to remove the battery, did you know? This is called offline charging with removable batteries. It also means you can remove the battery from pedelec and charge it elsewhere. Which is handy if you want to charge that battery indoors!
So, let's something about User-Removable. What this means is that you could do it all yourself and not have to ask your parents (or seek help from a grown up) cut the battery. Others are -specifically designed e bikes- and feature removable batteries to meet the kids like us that want battery-powereds, too! So can lift the battery out and charge up then fit back ourselves. How cool is that? This makes us more self-reliant when it comes to our e bikes!
Detachable is a synonym for removable. Detachable Batteries-There are e bikes with detachable batteries as well. These batteries are also modular and easy to come off the bike. A lot of these will actually include a special tool that allows you to take it off the bike easily at your destination. This may sound difficult at first, but I promise it is not! After a few miniutes of practice, you should be able to easily and quickly remove/attach the battery. Pretty soon it will become second nature!
So you must be thinking why should someone need a removable battery in their e bike? There actually great reasons! The first positive point is that a removable battery allows you to charge the device inside, where there are no adverse weather conditions (eg. rain or snow). This is really useful because you do not need to panic about the battery being underwater! Second, it is much easier to transport the battery if its not on the bike. This makes it easy to take inside and charge. The large battery is also allows you to take an additional one with on those longer ride days. That way if one battery is died you have another ready to go!
